Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lunava's hosting, domain registration, and email services, along with the website at lunava.web.id. By creating an account or using our services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate registration information, keep it up to date, and protect your password. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, and you must notify us at admin@lunava.web.id if you believe your account has been compromised. One person or organisation per account, please.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a Lunava account. If you are using the services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lunava services to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email, phishing messages, or other spam.
  • Host or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious scripts.
  • Engage in illegal activity, violate intellectual property rights, or infringe on privacy.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or network.
  • Run distributed denial-of-service attacks, port scans, or similar abusive tooling against third parties.
  • Mine cryptocurrency on shared hosting plans.
  • Host content that is sexually explicit involving minors, incites violence, or otherwise violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination.

4. Fair use of shared resources

Shared hosting plans are, as the name suggests, shared. If the resource usage on your account (CPU, I/O, memory, or email volume) affects other customers, we may ask you to optimise, upgrade, or migrate to a plan more suitable for your workload. We will always try to reach out before taking action.

5. Payments, renewals, and refunds

  • Payment: services are billed in advance for the term you select. Invoices are generated automatically and emailed to the address on your account.
  • Renewals: services renew at the price published at the time of renewal. Our standing policy is that the renewal price matches the initial price — we do not use promotional pricing that spikes at renewal.
  • Refunds: new hosting customers may request a full refund within 7 days of initial purchase. Domain registrations are non-refundable after they are submitted to the registry, because registry fees are non-recoverable. Add-on services purchased mid-term are non-refundable unless we fail to deliver them.
  • Late payment: if an invoice is not paid by the due date, we will send reminders. Services may be suspended 7 days after the due date and terminated 30 days after suspension if payment is still outstanding.

6. Domain registrations

When you register or transfer a domain through Lunava, you agree to the policies of the relevant registry (for example, PANDI for .id domains, or ICANN for gTLDs). You confirm that the contact information you provide is accurate, and you authorise Lunava to submit it to the registry on your behalf. Once a domain is registered, the associated fees are non-refundable, and you are responsible for renewing the domain before it expires.

7. Transactional email

Lunava sends transactional email related to your account and services, including verification (OTP), password resets, login alerts, invoices, payment receipts, renewal reminders, service activation, DNS and domain confirmations, maintenance notices, and support replies. These messages are essential to the operation of the service and cannot be disabled while your account is active. Optional notifications can be managed at Email Preferences.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the Lunava platform available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Unplanned incidents are communicated through transactional email and, where available, a status page.

9. Backups

Lunava runs daily automated backups of hosting accounts and retains them for the period stated in each plan (7, 14, or 30 days). Backups are a convenience feature and should not be your only safeguard — you are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important data. Restore requests are handled through the support portal.

10. Content ownership

You retain all rights to the content you upload to your Lunava hosting account. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, back up, and serve that content as required to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your data, and we will not use it for any purpose other than providing the services you have asked us for.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if an invoice is significantly overdue, or if required by law. Where feasible we will notify you first and give you an opportunity to respond. You may close your account at any time from the client area or by contacting support.

12. Disclaimer and liability

Lunava services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Lunava's aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the affected service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Lunava against claims arising from your use of the services in a way that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any third party.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Continuing to use Lunava after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts located in Indonesia, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise for consumers.
